Karan Johar ROASTS Maheep Kapoor asking if she feels threatened by Shalini Passi’s popularity – WATCH

Recently, Karan Johar turned up the heat by putting Maheep Kapoor in a tight spot with Shalini Passi. Johar is the producer of the series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. She made waves with her debut on the show last month and has become the subject of much discussion. Karan, known for his provocative style, took to his Instagram on Wednesday night to showcase Maheep’s reaction to a pointed question about Shalini.

In the Reel, Maheep Kapoor clad in all black, is seen sitting next to Karan Johar as he begins recording. Puzzled, she asks why he is filming her, prompting Karan to zoom in on a luxury handbag nearby. He cheekily asks if it’s from a collection dated 18 years ago. To this, Maheep retorts, “You gifted it to me, you as**ole.”

Karan Johar asks, “With Shalini Passi stealing the spotlight this season, do you feel threatened?” Maheep Kapoor playfully tries to grab the phone from him. Karan pushes her for her inner thoughts. And she responds with a hint of sarcasm, “You’re giving me a headache.”

Karan quips back, “Is her popularity giving you a headache?” Maheep laughs, briefly hides her face. And concludes the playful interaction by giving Karan the middle finger. Shalini couldn’t resist joining the fun and shared Karan’s Reel on her Instagram Stories, adding, “Love these two.”

She also posted a picture from the launch of luxury beauty brand Tira’s flagship store at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. Shalini posed alongside actor Suhana Khan and her Fabulous Lives co-stars: Maheep, Bhavana Pandey, Neelam, and Seema Sajdeh. Notably, Shalini and Suhana’s mother, Gauri Khan, have been close friends since Gauri’s Delhi days. It was before marrying superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
